Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

At Chimney Cap Master, we take great pride in our craftsmanship and strive to provide our customers with a product that is both beautiful and built to last. Every chimney cap is custom-built to your specifications using premium 16-gauge metal. Because of the personalized nature of our products, returns and refunds are limited. Please review the following carefully:

As custom metal chimney cap covers are all handmade products. Some slight variations in size, color, finish, texture are nature and should not be considered as flaws or defects. Any return or refund request based on this will not be accepted. These details reflect the unique character of handmade work.

Non-Returnable Items

Please note that all customized products cannot be resold, and we DO NOT accept return/refund requests under the circumstances below.

-Returns/refunds due to customer preferences or change of mind: If the product is customized according to the customer's specific requirements or dimensions, and the customer wishes to return the product due to personal preferences, incorrect choices, or other individual reasons after receiving it, we will not accept the return requests.

-Returns and refunds not caused by quality issues: if the product does not have quality issues, such as material, process, or design defects, but the customer wishes to return it for other reasons (e.g., color, style), we will not accept such return requests.

-Products that have been installed or improperly used: Once the product has been installed by the customer, we do not accept return or refund requests unless there are obvious quality problems with the product and it is proved that the quality problems are caused by us. Returns are also not accepted due to improper use or damage caused by the customer.

-Return /refund requests beyond the return/refund period: If the customer makes a return/refund request beyond the specified return/refund period, we will not be able to accept it.

You may request a return or refund within 3 business days of the product delivery date if the quality issues are confirmed to be caused by Chimney Cap Master. Please email us at info@chimneycapmaster.com when you receive the products, and our customer service team will provide all details and guidance through the return or refund process.

Returns

Approval Required: All returns must be pre-approved by our customer support team. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

To return a product, please ensure that:

The product is in its original condition and packaging.
The product includes all original pieces and documents, with no missing hardware and parts.
The product has not been used or installed.
The product is in a resalable condition.
The return request has been authorized by the Company.

Any unnecessary extra fees caused by returned products without authorization will be excluded from the final refunds.

If the return is due to a Chimney Cap Master product quality issue, we will cover the shipping costs. However, if the return request does not have a clear quality issue, please note that the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs for the merchandise without clear quality issues. In this case, the return will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Eligible Returns

Damaged in Transit – If your chimney cap arrives damaged, please notify us within 3 business days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or repair at no additional cost.

Please contact info@chimneycapmaster.com for any questions regarding returns, including the return address. Our customer service team will reply within 24-48 hours.

Refunds

Usually a refund will be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days upon refund approval. Please note that all shipping charges are non-refundable.

Warranty

At Chimney Cap Master, we stand by the quality of our craftsmanship and offer a limited warranty to ensure your satisfaction. All products enjoy the following coverage:

  • Copper Chimney Cap/Cover: Limited lifetime warranty

  • Brass Chimney Cap/Cover: Limited lifetime warranty

  • Zinc Chimney Cap/Cover: Limited lifetime warranty

  • Stainless Steel Chimney Cap/Cover: Limited lifetime warranty

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Any defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use and maintenance.

  • Structural Integrity: Issues affecting the structural integrity of the chimney cap, including welds and primary components.

  • Finish Quality: Defects in the finish of copper, brass, zinc, or stainless steel chimney caps that are not the result of normal weathering, patina development, or improper maintenance.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Improper Installation: Damage or failure due to incorrect installation or failure to follow provided instructions.

  • Misuse or Abuse: Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or using the product for purposes other than intended.

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Expected changes over time such as scratches, dents, surface patina, or finish variations.

  • Environmental Factors: Damage caused by extreme weather, corrosive environments, or natural disasters.

  • Accidental Damage: Impacts, falls, or other external forces beyond our control.

  • Improper Maintenance: Issues arising from failure to maintain the product properly according to care guidelines.

  • Third-Party Alterations: Damage caused by accessories, modifications, or components not supplied or approved by Chimney Cap Master.

  • Force Majeure: Events beyond human control such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, fires, or other natural disasters are not eligible for return or warranty coverage.

While custom metal chimney caps are handcrafted and may have minor variations in size, color, or finish, these are natural aspects of the product and not considered defects. We are committed to providing reliable protection, ensure product quality and will work with you to ensure fair and professional support if any warranty concerns arise.
