Installation Methods of Our Caps

Important Installation Note
-For secure installation, the chimney cap must be anchored into the solid brick or masonry structure, not only into the mortar or cement layer.
-Please consult your installer and always have the chimney cap installed by a qualified professional to ensure proper and secure mounting.
-For chimney caps with a flat base or decorative bottom trim, we recommend making sure the top of the chimney is properly leveled before installation for the best fit and finished appearance.

Side-Mounted

The chimney cap covers the top of the chimney and is fastened through the side flanges. Screws/anchors are inserted horizontally into the sides of the chimney for a secure fit.

Top-Mounted

The chimney cap is secured by attaching the top flange directly to the chimney. Screws are driven down into the chimney structure to hold the cap firmly in place.
